Evelatus Ltd. informs that in the period until 23.04.2021 the children’s smartbracelets Forever KW-50 (GSM036541), EAN 5900495681904,manufacturer: Forever were sold. On the basis of the European Union’s Rapid Alert System Safety Gate (Rapex) report No A12/00250/21 and a request from the PTAC, the product is being recalled and its sale to Evelatus is being discontinued
Evelatus is withdrawn from Evelatus stores. [1]
Reason for recall: non-compliance with the safety requirements of the product. The product (pink bracelet) contains lead in excess of the maximum permitted level.
Please note that lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body and can have neurotoxic effects on development, while any amount of lead above 0,19% can pose a risk to the health of a child.
Action to be taken by the buyer when bringing the product:
- Please hand in the above-mentioned goods at an Evelatus outlet, taking with you the purchase receipt.
- The value of the goods will be refunded in exchange for the goods stated on the purchase receipt or the goods may be exchanged for any other goods of the same value.
