Can’t decide which watch is right for you? Read on to find out more about each one.
Fitbit Sense
It’s a stressful time, and stress is something that needs to be controlled right now. Fitbit Sense can help you do just that with the new Electro-Dermal Activity (EDA) sensor, the first of its kind in a smartwatch.
It measures the level of sweat on your skin – simply place your palm on the watch screen and the EDA Scan app measures your stress levels. The watch also has many other sensors.
An ECG app is available, so the watch can monitor your heart rate and heart rate variability, as well as detect signs of atrial fibrillation. A skin temperature sensor can detect the first signs of fever or the start of a new menstrual phase. Sense can also calculate your breathing rate and measure your SpO2 (blood and oxygen saturation). The SpO2 watch display will show your readings from last night.
Fitbit Sense is also adapted to life during a pandemic. “More than 100,000 Fitbit users have joined the study to date, and we found that our algorithm can detect nearly 50 percent of COVID-19 cases per day before symptoms appear with 70 percent specificity,” said Eric Friedman, co-founder and Fitbit CTO, based on research conducted with Fitbit Premium subscribers.
Sense also has all the traditional features of a smartwatch. It has a GPS receiver, more than 20 workout modes, and a built-in speaker and microphone so you can talk to friends or talk to a digital assistant (Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant). Contactless payments are also supported.
The watch uses an AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 and Always On mode. The battery life is 6 days or more, and a quick charge in 12 minutes will provide enough power for a whole day (10-80% takes 40 minutes). The device is waterproof up to 50 metres.

Sense is available in two colours: black steeland white steel. It is priced from 329 Eur to 335 Eur
Fitbit Versa 3
If you don’t need all these sensors, Fitbit Versa 3 offers the same smartwatch features without focusing on health monitoring. The battery is good for 6+ days, and again a 12-minute charge is enough to keep the device lasting you all day.
The built-in speaker and microphone allow you to call or dictate a text message to your digital assistant. You can also listen to Deezer, Pandora and Spotify playlists, buy something with Fitbit Play and more.
The Versa 3 has built-in GPS as well as a heart rate sensor, so it can do basic exercise tracking. It’s resistant to 50 metres underwater, so you can also swim without removing the watch.
Removing all the advanced sensors saves €100 – the Versa 3 costs just €229.
Available in 3 colours: clay pink, dark blue and black
Fitbit Inspire 2
Inspire 2 is a smart wristband worth 99 euros with a battery life of 10 days from charge to discharge. This wristband features 24/7 heart rate monitoring, over 20 target exercise modes, controlled breathing and women’s health monitoring.
A small yet beautiful watch that will suit every outfit and every lifestyle.
It is available in 3 colours: black, pink and white.
